layers tracking too far right with 1.0 on IE/webkit but not Firefox

When I upgraded my simple app to 1.0 it continues to work fine on Firefox, but on Chrome/Safari/IE all of the layers move way right. It could be that I am not following the 0.9.x > 1.x changes correctly, but it does work on Firefox.
