Modbus Library Implementation on F28388D ControlCARD

Hello,

I am trying to implement a Modbus library on the TI microcontroller F28388D ControlCARD. Has anyone tried this on a TI microcontroller before? If so, could you please share your experience or any tips on how to get started?

On README, it is mentioned that this library can be implemented on MCUs with Embox RTOS, will it work even with FreeRTOS? Since, FreeRTOS is already working on my MCU, do I need to still install Embox RTOS?
