I'm not sure how suitable it would be for Windows/MacOS, but there's a magic-wormhole GUI written in Vala and using GTK3: https://github.com/bleakgrey/Transporter Meson build system.

@Jacalz, I shared the link to that because it's a desktop application that could potentially be adapted for croc. I think we'll both agree that the question of converged mobile+desktop...

@doolio, good find! The MELPA tarball also has this discrepancy: https://melpa.org/packages/elpy-20201115.1811.tar Also, I just noticed that Debian's Emacs packaging, using dh-elpa, is also trusting `elpy-pkg.el` and exporting the wrong depencies...

@akshaybadola, I'm not sure how much help I'll be with my limited experience (definitely not enough to maintain the project!), but I'd like to help with whatever I'm able to....
