Adjacent Mentions Classified as One

If I inserted a mention fck_trmp and inserted again the same mention immediately after the first mention fck_trmpfck_trmp, it will be classified as a single mention

Ah - interesting behavior. My guess is that we can't tell that the mention is meant to be two because there's no change to the state machine between the mentions. Can you clarify with exactly how you're inserting the mention the first and second times? Do they both have unique identifiers? Or is it literally the same mention attribute twice? If it's the same object twice, that will appear as one since there's nothing unique about the second insertion.
