Custom chooser view takes very long time for selection

I have added custom chooserview. I can able to select the row of tableview. but it takes long press to populate in uitextview. I have followed https://medium.com/@shtimehack/linkedin-hakawai-implementions-user-mentions-future-in-your-ios-swift-application-cf1b47f71bae url for implementation. Also actual delegates of uitextview are not working.
