Sidebar Mode [extension]

What problem does your feature solve?

• As a user, sometimes I need to click away from the extension in order to copy paste an address, see what token I need to transfer, or attend to business on another tab
• When that happens, the wallet closes out, and the progress within a flow (Send, Swap, etc) is lost. This means I need to start all over
• If the flows I'm trying to accomplish in the wallet are complex, I might have to open multiple tabs, reorganize my windows, and come up with complicated workarounds so that I can accomplish whatever I want to do onchain through my browser extension wallet
• Full screen mode is a workaround, but it takes up a whole screen, and requires additional UI reorganization if the info I need is on another window

What would you like to see?

• Sidebar mode (click a button and move the extension into the browser sidebar)
• Setting toggle to set default to sidebar mode (make a manifest change to automatically switch to sidebar mode)

What alternatives are there?

• Fullscreen mode (less ideal)
• Using regular extension mode (least ideal)
