I have tried that and it doesn't work. It's a bug in the latest amd mesa drivers in waydroid.
The latest version still has a mesa driver broken for these amd graphics cards, I'm starting to lose hope they'll ever fix this.

Last working vendor image: lineage-18.1-20250503 & lineage-20-20250503 First broken: lineage-18.1-20250510 (both lineageos 18.1 & 20) Replacing /lib/hw/vulkan.radeon.so and /lib64/hw/vulkan.radeon.so in the latest image with files from 20250503 makes the issue...
You are right, replacing those files completely breaks vulkan, sorry I didn't notice because the game I was testing probably falls back to another graphics library when vulkan isn't available....
