@louies0623 would like to have one small (one icon) button with a menu for the 4 workspaces instead the 1 2 3 4 button we provide. That's my understanding.

No, you can show all desktops or only the active, and you can show them on more lines like below, but no single button which expands the workspaces. ![immagine](https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/676eb572-1175-4fef-ace3-95b3abec3381)

You could use a autohiding panel on the left or right side with the switcher on it. In the picture above with just 1 you can also switch by mousewheel...

Usually WMs have a shortcut for "next workspace" so you could create a custom command using `xdotool`to type the shortcut and display also the actual workspace. Left click → next...

Those are your options atm. > ...until somebody picks up this request and will make a PR.

Atm custom command plugin can be used for disk space, examples here https://github.com/lxqt/lxqt/discussions/2179 ![immagine](https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/54a56aa5-6d14-4199-91d4-d6291ac24c46)

There are more issues: any applications like `lxqt-leave` or `qterminal -d` don't scale at all if launched by shortcut, as do most xwayland windows too (element looks ok, gimp not)....

Could you test with the default configuration `/usr/share/lxqt/panel.conf` ? If it doesn't happen could you share your `~/.config/lxqt/panel.conf` ?

From the second log: ``` Mar 27 03:44:31 asd systemd-coredump[8041]: Process 7600 (lxqt-notificati) of user 1001 dumped core. Stack trace of thread 7600: #0 0x0000763820a7af71 n/a (libc.so.6 + 0x5cf71) #1...
