It was and it will be I'd say, it's for testing. But the doubling amount issue and not sending when fast sending was always there probably...

It happens when you do fast sends for example, until this account's balanced isn't confirmed all accounts show that amount at some point, it fixes itself by waiting.

Not sure if it is a good idea running the same seed in different wallets, don't think average user will this do.

I still think nobody should do this - just run different wallets on different devices, there is an address book where you can move funds from one to another, and...

 On Linux desktop no big issue.

It's smaller because transparent, but on white background it would be the same also without transparency. Increased size with transparency on white bg:
