toki bon pan/pana | sin/sina?
how does dropping the final vowels + consonant in Tok Bon work for words like sin vs sina or pan vs pana? Am I missing something?
There is an example with "sin": it becomes "ŝin" and can therefore be distinguished from "sina", which becomes "sin". About "pan" and "pana"... oopsie. I just realized that http://ucteam.ru/toki-pona/ doesn't even list "pan", so I didn't notice before that there is a conflict. I would probably tweak "pan" to "han" (as it is in Japanese). The etymology of "pana" is unknown to me, so I would leave it as is for the moment. Thanks for pointing it out. I hope I will update it soon.
