Closing VLC

Hello.

I have the next case in Windows:

  1. Click VLC link in web browser.
  2. First VLC is opened.
  3. Click other VLC link in web browser.
  4. Second VLC is opened.

Maybe there is sense to close first VLC by the next cmd line in vlc-protocol.bat: taskkill /IM "vlc.exe" /F

Sure, I think that should probably work. I don't think I'd want to include it by default though. If you can confirm that it works, then maybe I can add it in there but commented out.

Hello. Yes, you can add it as comment. It works on Windows 10.
