Does not list/play videos on Android TV 9 (Mibox 4/S)

On Android TV 9 (Mibox 4/S) there is no list of videos after selecting a category. Simply hangs while showing an enlarged background image, no further progress.

@stefanmedack I have the same problem on Android 11 (Nvidia Shield). Would you open to a PR if I found out what's happening?
