weird handling of images and descriptions

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. It's very nice that in the deck a preview is rendered if an image attachment is found. However, it's done in a kind of weird way.

First, only a strip is shown, from the middle of the image. So for example, if I attach a square contact picture of a person, only their nose is shown, which makes it very strange.

Second, when I open the card to see its description, an image attachment referenced in the description is only shown as a generic picture icon, instead of the image itself. Which is again very strange, as the image is available and the app can show it in the deck, and also the browser app shows images in the description just fine.

And finally, if only a description is given and no attachment, then the deck doesn't show any preview.

Describe the solution you'd like I think it would be nicer if the deck would display previews of either the description or an image attachment, in this order. Also, images referenced in the description should be rendered, both in the preview and in the details view.

And finally, there should be a better trade-off in the cropping of images in the preview, to prevent such cases as described abowe.
