Add-on does not hve the correct structure

I installed openelec 5.0 on linux, and now I can't install the pulsar add-on with zip files. The add-on (unpacked) as .zip are on my ftp server, but I keep getting "add-on does not hve the correct structure" can anyone help?

It is better that you install it from a repo. In my Openelec sometimes I have the same problem with the zip files. Sometimes after copy them, I have to reboot.

I solved by installing the plugins through a usb stick....no problems this way. But thanks for your input :)

I run OpenELEC / Kodi on my new PRi2, and have the same issue. Only tried installing it from a USB-drive through the XBMC "Install from ZIP" option, and get this error every time. Any pointers?

Had this error, it's the permissions on your file system/directory where you store the .zip files
