Slow daemon startup

Hello, can anything be done for faster daemon startup? When I boot Kodi, I have to wait more than 20 seconds in menu for daemon to start. Tested on vanilla Kodi, Pulsar 0.4.7 starts in around 5-7 seconds while newest version takes up to 30. At least please implement a loading screen when going to Pulsar, because I just get an error if I don't wait in menu doing nothing while daemon is starting.

I have the same issue. Prior to v0.6.1, it would boot in 5-6 seconds. Now it takes ~22 seconds to boot the daemon. I'm on Windows 8.1, 64 bit.

same problem with 0.6.1 on windows 7, no comparable issue with RPI2 running openelec

Very puzzling. Pulsar doesn't seem like the sort of thing that would take so long to start. Kodi itself loads within 3 seconds in my media Pc.

Any update on this issue? I've been experiencing this issue for 6 months now and this is the only thread I can find online about it. I have the same issue with 2 different windows computers and tried it on both Isengard and Jarvis. Pulsar takes anywhere from 20 - 30 seconds to startup every time. On my android box it starts within 3-5 seconds.
