What happened to 'fun' and how do I use this thing ?

It might be an idea to update the README.

There's a branch called cleanup where the syntax is still reasonable and working (at least last I tried, which was more than a year ago). TBF it should probably be made the default branch of this repo, which is currently unnecessarily confusing.
