Can the demo app Dittojay broadcast while in suspended state or terminated state?

Is there a way to make the demo app Dittojay (which acts as the peripheral) continue to broadcast it's heart-rate even when it is either suspended or terminated?

For example, when a device running the Dittojay app comes physically close enough for a connection to be established with a device running the Bluejay app, I would like Dittojay to start broadcasting it's heart-rate.
