Use a formal well known license
Hi Stephan,
Thanks for the solutions!
I'm thinking of trying to create the ultimate openly licensed Project Euler solution repo with LLMs.
So I wanted to suggest, would you consider using a more formal well known license for your code and or explanations? This would possibly allow me to save some GPU cycles.
I saw that you already have a very open informal license on the problem pages, e.g.: https://euler.stephan-brumme.com/243/
I hope you enjoy my code and learn something - or give me feedback how I can improve my solutions.
All of my solutions can be used for any purpose and I am in no way liable for any damages caused.
You can even remove my name and claim it's yours. But then you shall burn in hell.
but it would be more useful for others to reuse your stuff if you had a more well known open license. Notably, is attribution required or not (it seems not, except for spiritual woes! :-), but who knows if hose are legally enfoceable!)
Cheers.
