User Story

As a user I want to be able to distinguish between read and unread notifications So that I know which ones require my attention

Description

This feature is part of a larger effort to create a new Activity Center. Please, reach out to members of the UX team before starting this work in case there are important details not apparent in Figma.

Update on 2022-09-28: Read/unread will work like simple filters.

Update on 2022-09-15: The Design team is figuring out how to display read and unread notifications, especially in the context of users with lots of notifications. TL;DR: The collapsible read/unread sections will change in Figma.

This issue can be closed once we implement the new (yet to be defined) design.
