Unexpected error during processing

Hi there,

I tried to use METAL to process a single file, but during the processing, I got errors like duplicated detected, only the first occurrence is used. But I have checked the original file, and there are no duplicated SNPs in the file. Thus I am confused why I got this error. And then, the program crashed.

Hi Ruyu I have experienced in the same, and I am not able to give you an unambiguous answer to why. However, from my experience it comes from multiallelic variants. Could be a SNP which at the same position also has an INDEL. Hope it could help :)
