Github now officially supports Mermaid diagrams: https://docs.github.com/en/get-started/writing-on-github/working-with-advanced-formatting/creating-diagrams

So, I also think it would be good for Runme notebooks to render those code blocks.

Observable JS kernel now supports them too. Should be easy to add Mermaid diagrams rendering to Runme.
