Forms: Ability to to have "editable fields" on submitted forms

Open Pixney-William opened this issue 5 years ago • 6 comments

Let's say as an agency you are looking for people to hire. You create a "we are looking for a designer" blueprint with fields like: Name, Email, About you.

Then designers submit to you. The form is saved.

Now, when i want to manage the applicants, maybe i would like to rate my interest in each as well as set a status showing that i have actually responded to them. Today i can't seem to add "editable" fields, and that is what my request is.

I want to be able to add extra fields to the blueprint that i as an admin can edit when viewing the submissions. This would in turn allow me to filter and search applicants using the new filter views.

Thanks for the word!

I would probably suggest to create entries instead of form submissions using an addon like Workshop. Then you can just edit entries as normal.

However, Workshop doesn't exist for v3 yet.

Looked at the plugin in the marketplace but i don't really understand from that description what it does and if it solves this. Maybe it does so i will have to trust you on that one then :)

It just lets you create entries on the front-end as opposed to form submissions.

Ah, well then it solves it i guess. Should we close the request?
