[Feature] Auto increment of play count when player reaches the end of the video
I never watch a video completely, I always scan through it. And I can't really set up a threshold for considering the video viewed since I watch different "amounts" of any one video depending on how much I enjoy it.
So right now after I am finished with a video I have to click to set it as watched, which I sometimes forget, and is preventing me from automatically switching to the next video.
Would it be possible to have a setting allowing for a video to be considered viewed when the player reaches the end of it?
Thank you!
Do you mean increasing your play history? I gave it a test and play history goes up in the last few seconds of the scene.
It does not work for me. Is there something to activate?
Have you tried setting "Minimum Play Percent" to either minimum or maximum values. I don't know if it checks the duration or where in the timeline you are.
Also "Enable Scene Play history" must be on I assume. Both can be found in Settings -> Interface.
You using a specific player app or just the web browser? Some apps might not increase the count properly.
Maybe I wasn't clear before. I would like the play history to increase when the player reaches the end of the video, regardless of how much of the video I watched.
I have the play history activated and of course, if I set the minimum play increment to 0%, as soon as I start the video, it counts as one play. But I want it to happen when I have watched enough of the video, not when I viewed x% of it.
So could such a function easily be implemented?
Thanks!
