[Bug Report] Error when changing performer image

Open SirCumAlot1988 opened this issue 1 year ago • 3 comments

Describe the bug I sometimes get the error message below, when I change the image of a performer.

To Reproduce It is not 100% reproducible unfortunately. Sometimes it happens, sometimes not.

These are the steps I followed when it happened:

  1. Create a new performer
  2. Scrape from an arbitrary source (including image)
  3. Click save
  4. Click edit
  5. Load a different image using the set image ==> from URL function
  6. Click save
  7. Now you should see the error

If you reload the site (ctrl + F5), the image can be modified again.

Obviously the image file is still being accessed by another process (maybe virus scanner?), but I did not have this issue with older Stash versions (and did not change my setup).

Expected behavior The error message should not apppear and the performer image should be changed correctly

Stash Version: (from Settings -> About): v0.24.3

What happens if you click save again without reloading?

Just tried it. This works as well. It is saved properly then.

I've been experience the same issue a lot since migrating to filesystem blobs. I'm also on Windows 10. I don't think refresh or saving again really has any effect. It seems to only resolve itself after an arbitrary amount of time has passed.

I regularly get this if I create a performer and then try to use the performer tagger and update the performer with a stashdb image. I also see it a lot when I create a performer with a performer image and then try to crop the image with my performer image crop plugin which just does a PerformerUpdate mutation
