[Feature] Watch History
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Currently the scenes have a view counter, but no watch history is logged
Describe the solution you'd like
I would like to request the implementation of a "Watch History" feature within Stash, similar to what YouTube offers. This feature would allow users to keep track of the videos they have watched. Users should be able to access a chronological list of videos they've viewed, making it easier to revisit and reference previously watched content.
Additional context
As shown in the screenshot above, this feature would display a list of videos, organized by the order in which they were watched. Users can click on any video to revisit it. A timestamp indicating when the video was watched is also provided for reference.
The Last Played At sorting option combined with the Play Count filter can achieve two of the three points you have requested:
-
Play Count is greater than 0sorted byLast Played At, save filter as Watch History.
Limitations
- This will not show the last play date on the scenes view. That will requiring drilling down into the scene's file info tab
- This will not show a unique scene more than once
Something we should decide about this is whether videos watched multiple times appear multiple times in this history view. Most often, it only appears for the last time viewed. However, I personally would prefer it if videos appeared for each time they've been viewed. Alternatively, if there are many people who prefer one way or the other, it could be a user setting to let them choose.

Thumbs up for videos appearing a single time.
Thumbs up for videos appearing for each time viewed.
