Navigating back in the browser doesn't remember scroll position
ChromeOS Canary - 95.0.4609.3 OS - macOS 12.0 (Build 21A5304g) - although it also happens on Big Sur etc.
Steps to reproduce.
- Navigate to a Stash page with enough results that you need to scroll.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page.
- Click on a video, to open it.
- Navigate back in your browser.
What happens The browser seems to automatically scroll to the top of the page every time - even if you were scrolled to the bottom prior to opening a video (or somewhere else in the page).
What should happen The browser should remember your position, then when navigating back, go back to it.
This appears to be browser-specific. On Chrome I can reproduce this only on Performers, Movies, Galleries and Tags pages. On Edge however, I can reproduce this on all list pages.
I have issues with this as well on iPad Safari and on Brave on macOS.
If I navigate to "Scenes" (which uses a custom default saved filter, not sure if this matters), scroll down, click on a video, don't play the video, and navigate back in the browser to "Scenes", the scroll position is preserved.
However, if I repeat the same steps and do play the video, then navigating back in the browser to "Scenes" shows a brief "loading" indicator (as I assume the page is no longer cached) and the scroll position is lost.
