Interesting wrapper and I saw the scrot that you posted of musicbar in action. If it's okay with you, I wouldn't mind working on Spotify support if that is fine with you.

I'm perfectly okay with it. As long as it's modular and doesn't breaks anything it should be no issue to add it as a separate module.

Update on my work: Info from Spotify is working and am working on implementing the functionality for the buttons. I still have to implement the method that will make it only source the files of Spotify when it's running or source mpd when it's running.

EDIT: Modular system working. Still have a few things to do before it is ready such as state and volume control
