Hi there,

First big sorry for my bad*ss english my native language ist german.... So i was very happy to see that a free und open source launcher with nice Ideas is going to be written for android.... So i want to now some things....

-> Is there a chance to rename the categories / and maybe dealete 1-2 ? -> Is there a possiblity to add more than one widget and change the size?

What is about multilanguage Support? German maybe :D ;) Well me english isnt the best, but my german grammer is much better :D

The categories are already on the to-do list. In my opinion, the one widget limit makes it look clean and uncluttered, although I guess an option in the settings wouldn't hurt :D

Hello! I am very happy that you like my project :)

1. As @ImAnnoying already said the adding/removing/renaming categories feature (I call them 'tabs') is on the todo list and is one of the most important features that I initially intended for the app, so when I get the time to add it - I will.
2. I am not completely dismissive of the idea of having multiple widgets, I just don't see why it is needed. If someone wants to have multiple widgets then they might as well use the stock launcher. And ofcourse also as @ImAnnoying said: "... makes it look clean". But this is just my opinion, and it might change.
3. About the multilanguage support: Translating the app to other languages is a great idea. Currently the app does not have much text, and all the strings are stored in the string.xml file, so it should be easy to translate it. I don't know german though so you are very welcome to help! :)

Well sounds very good to me ;) I have translated the strings.xml into german and at the end i have added some additional strings for releases in the future ;) Based on yout todo list :D

Multible Widgets.... Well i have added a screenshot to show what i mean.... In this release i only can add one widget with no chance to resize.... In my usecase i use it for agenda and notes for work.... (OpenTasks and CalendarWidget you can find them on fdroid)

Here are my strings:

Haha no problem it's great to help. I was adding "hold a tab" to rename but I can't quite today :P

By the way the icon is just a quick one, it probably needs some small fixes like maybe for it to fit better. But I had to hurry! Anyway if you like it it's cool

I love the new icon thanks for that work :D ;) Ive added the icon quick and dirty to my Nova Launcher (has a feature to change icons in the app drawer).... It looks good but i would look better if it gets a background... Maybe somethimng like only dark blue so it looks like water :D ;) Specially the material blue blue tone ;)

@Teyro you should be able to see the icon background! I think you used the one under Resources. That has no background. The background is generated when importing it into Android Studio. And no problem!

@Teyro Apparently f-droid doesn't want to update the app to the latest version unless we completely translate it to german. We have added some more words so can you please provide a translation for them as soon as possible

@Teyro in case you're not familiar with Android strings (and Java string formatting in general), %s will be replaced with a string variable, in this case the tab name.

This is embarrasing since f-droid won't update this app until I have finished the third alpha version :disappointed:

But no worries. Now I know that I should at least check with google translate, even though it is not perfect it would prevent at least some of the errors like wrong words and typos.

BTW where it says «Enter new tab name» I didn't translate it as «Introduzca el nuevo nombre para la pestaña» because it's too long, so instead it is «Introduzca el nuevo nombre» which translates into «Enter new name». You're free to change it.

BTW v.2, I'm surprised you have «This category is currently empty. [...]». I thought you preferred to call them tabs :). If you decide to call them tabs, here's the string: «Esta pestaña está vacía. Puedes mover aplicaciones entre pestañas arrastrándolas.»

It doesn't actually matter if they are called "tabs" or "categories" as long there is consistency, which you just pointed out that there isn't... So I probably should write "this tab currently is empty. You can move apps between tabs by dragging them" :/
