BUG with IC2EXP Block Cutter

Open gonglinyuan opened this issue 9 years ago • 9 comments

IC2EXP Block Cutter has a property called 'required hardness' for every block cutter recipes. But when we tried to add recipes into the block cutter with MineTweaker-3.0.10B, we couldn't find anywhere to put this value, 'required hardness', into the recipe. Therefore, the 'required hardness' of the added recipes became 'null'. And the recipes became impossible to use.

In IC2 has its own recipe files. They can edit and add your own recipes. They are in a "jar file / assets / ic2 / config".

Well that doesn't solve the issue in MT.

@Yulife so there is no point then use MineTweaker

@Tsyklop I can't understand a single sentence of yours. I'm not a Grammar nazi but I don't get what you're saying :neutral_face:

@Yulife Ah ah. If IC2 has its own recipe files that MineTveaker for IC2 is not needed.

Tsyklop avatar Nov 03 '15 19:11 Tsyklop

That is like saying ore processing in Thermal Expansion is not needed because Immersive Engineering has it :angry:

The bug is still relevant, as the only way to modify the recipe is to modify the JAR, which may not be optimal for modpack creators, as they're distributing a modified version of IndustrialCraft 2 using the current workaround.

Actually no, you just need to copy recipe files from jar to 'config/IC2' folder and it will work.

It even says so somewhere in their config folder that you can do that. I use 7-zip to get the files out.
