Description

The link to CONTRIBUTING.md in the README is broken since version 2.5.0, where the file was removed. This prevents new contributors from accessing contribution guidelines.

Proposed Fix

Either:

  • Restore CONTRIBUTING.md file
  • Update README to point to correct documentation
  • Add contribution guidelines directly in README
