Unable to write to local storage

In IOS, if I leave the app open for a while, iOS locks the phone as expected.

after unlocking, I often (but not always) get an error message: “Unable to write to local storage. Please restart the app and try again”

IOS 14.4.2 S|N 3.6.6

Hi @affvalente, sorry to hear that.

Are you using a passcode lock and/or a biometrics lock as well on the mobile app?

What is the time (e.g. 5 minutes) that your iPhone is set to keep the display awake/unlocked for?

Thanks - phone has passcode + biometrics, auto-lock at 5 mins, require password immediately

StandardNotes has just normal password, nothing else: and this is not a protected note; it's any note

iPhone is a bit old (8), but iOS is not (14.4.2)

Hi @affvalente, thank you so much for those details! I hope to find a consistent way to reproduce the issue. Have you noticed if this issue affect particularly long notes? How much free space do you currently have on your device?

Hi - no, don't think it's worse on long notes, and have more than half of the disk free on this device. Thanks!
