Search terms are persistent when clicking between tags

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. I'm frustrated when I type in a search term, realize it's not applicable to the currently-selected tag, and have to click a new tag and re-type the search term.

Describe the solution you'd like Search terms should be persistent until you click the 'x' button to clear them.

Describe alternatives you've considered You could clear when clicking between different view also, just not tags. You could limit this to be applicable only to sub-tags. That might be a reasonable compromise, or maybe a setting.
