In Super Notes, why does adding anything beginning with '@' get changed to a hash tag?
I am using a Super Notes article to track a list of '@' tags. But I find that every time I type a new '@' tag, the Super Note changes it to a '#' (hash tag).
This is very annoying--how do I make it stop?
I realize I can just change the note type to Plain Text to stop this behavior. But then you don't support searches in Plain Text--just Super Notes. 🙁
Hi @Centauri27, unfortunately, using "@" and typing a keyword/phrase on a Super note will invoke the linking function, which links and embeds any existing file, note, or tag to the Super note.
If you'd like to avoid turning what you typed into a new tag, a workaround on desktop is to hit the Esc key to dismiss the linking menu dropdown 🙏
Thanks @effieeee! That's a good workaround for the desktop version. Any workaround for the iOS app?
On mobile, I believe you can tap anywhere else on the note to dismiss the the linking menu 👍
