iPhone: Note text goes behind ‘hide keyboard’ icon
Describe the bug When writing long notes using iPhone the text goes behind the ‘hide keyboard’ icon once the writing reaches the bottom of the screen. On a small phone screen this means every 5-8 words you can’t see what you’re typing making it difficult for the user to see mistakes or to go back and correct them. To see the text and make changes a workaround is required of creating a handful of new blank lines to allow the hidden text to be made visible by scrolling down.
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Create a note using the iPhone app
- Type continuously until text reaches the bottom of the display
- See that the text behind the ‘hide keyboard’ icon (bottom right) can’t be seen.
Expected behavior Two options:
- The app could scroll the note text up before the cursor moves behind the ‘hide keyboard’ button.
- The ‘hide keyboard’ icon could be replaced by a toolbar button - possibly a ‘stop editing’ button. This could occupy the same space as the ‘back’ button, switching between being a back button in note viewing mode and being a done/stop editing button in note edit mode.
