Plans to make web app mobile responsive?
Currently, the web app is only formatted for desktop and is non-responsive. Are there plans to make the web app responsive, or would the team be open to a PR that accomplishes this?
There currently aren't any plans for this, but I have taken note of feedback related to this in the past and will add your +1 to the list. 🙂
As for a PR, I would suggest waiting for version 3.5 of the desktop and mobile apps to be released first (even it doesn't seem related to the web app). Please note that while the team is open to a PR, not every PR is accepted, depending on various factors.
I'll let our desktop and web dev share their thoughts on this. 😄
No plans, but it is on my mind 👍 it's just not something we can prioritize at the moment. If you want to contribute I'd definitely wait for us to release version 3.5, or you can work from the develop branch, but be aware that it is moving a lot. Also make sure to discuss design considerations with us first :)
Hi @MattDHill,
I just wanted to let you know that version 3.5 of the desktop, web, and mobile apps should be available for every Standard Notes user. Please let us know if you have any questions and we'll be more than happy to help you. 😃
This is basically all that would be needed for https://github.com/standardnotes/forum/issues/1404, since you could then just use the web version, or build the app for arm and then the same work done on this would apply there. I'd really appreciate just this one change, as apart from it, the site already works on mobile devices, but as you can see in this screenshot, there's a small issue with it not being responsive

I would consider this done by #1337
Awesome, looking forward to checking it out!
Likely we will now package Standard Notes for EmbassyOS.
