Custom themes broken in latest update

Since updating to the latest version on Windows the selection colors in the left hand pane are no longer applied. I had a look at the repository for the Midnight theme to see what updates I had to make but some of them have no effect.

What I did next was to manually download the Midnight theme from Github, replacing all the files from my custom theme in the Extensions folder, so as to test the official Midnight theme but having it installed as a custom theme. And the result was identical.
