Multithread and Resume - Reg.
Hi, I installed Raxml v8.2.12 through conda. I have two questions.
- I am constructing phylogenetic tree with whole genomes (~170 kb) with the following command: raxmlHPC -m GTRGAMMA -p 12345 -x 123 -#1000 -f a - plant_genome -n plant_raxml -T 40
But it shows that "-T does not have any effect with the sequential or parallel MPI version. It is used to specify the number of threads for the Pthreads-based parallelization"
It is using only one thread instead of 40 threads. How to modify or change parameters to use all the threads?
- I stopped this program for a while. How to resume? I couldn't find any resume commands for the same.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you.
Thank you.
Would you please be so kind to re-post this issue on the RAxML google group, I will answer it there.
