Selectable list length display

In various parts of the UI where a list is shown, it’s limited to a length of 10 items, and then one needs to page through the list in 10 item increments. It would be rather nice to be able to have a user selectable list of items, or at least a few selections like 10, 20, 50, 100 such as to have a more efficient user interaction.
