ENHANCEMENT | More Clarity around ACME and TLS

Open wayneoutthere opened this issue 1 year ago • 1 comments

Currently under /settings/acme, I would recommend the following text change to distinguish automatic certs from manual in the GUI:

ACME providers | Manage ACME TLS certificate providers to ACME providers | Create and Manage ACME TLS certificate providers (automated certs)

Then, under /settings/certificate I would suggest this:

TLS certificates | Manage TLS certificates

to TLS certificates | Manage existing TLS certificates (manual certs)

Agreed! Similar matter: there’s no clear indication that/what ACME certificate has been successfully created, when it’s expiring, etc.

It would also be useful, if there were an option to store the ACME certificate(s) instead of in the blob database, in some external file location (or have it additionally automatically exported there), such that other services running on the same machine can use it, too. Not ideal to have multiple TLS certificates for one and the same server.
