GRANT MISSION, IMPACT, RISKS & REFERENCE

Grant Mission:         I will create a public database on GitHub of investors who have either invested in Stacks startups or are open to doing so. The database will have the following data fields: name of investor or firm, website or contact information, investment stage(s), previous or current Stacks startups in the investor's portfolio, and other/comments. On GitHub, I will also have a "Discussion" section where people can suggest investors to add to the database and give comments.

Grant Impact:               This project will increase the awareness of current companies and investors working on Stacks applications. In addition, it will help bring various Stacks community members together. The Stacks Accelerator is great, but not all Stacks startups can or want to go through the accelerator. The accelerator's website lists fifteen investment firms but doesn't have the information that will be in my database. Also, there are a lot of individual investors and venture firms interested in Stacks but who either don't participate in the Stacks accelerator or aren't listed on the website. The same applies to the OKCoin Bitcoin Odyssey fund. The database will increase the likelihood and speed of Stacks startups getting funded; thus, more Stacks apps will bring users to Stacks.

Grant Risks:                          The main challenge will be getting as much specific information as possible from each listed individual investor or venture fund. I anticipate that not every listed investor will have all the information I seek. The other challenge will be to find investors who don't have an existing public presence in the Stacks ecosystem.

Support Link:                                     I've already created the table for the database here: https://github.com/users/RagnarLifthrasir/projects/1/

And the Discussion section here: https://github.com/RagnarLifthrasir/stacks-startup-investors/discussions/2

GRANT ROADMAP & DELIVERABLES

FINAL DELIVERABLE

Deliverable:                   The database on GitHub I described above with at least 40 investors. And the discussion section on GitHub.

Wow, this is a great initiative. I know our teams at the Stacks Web 3.0 Startup Lab will definitely want to know about this resource! I hope to see your project come to life!
