GitHub "Create a repository" just hanging

Describe the bug

When clicking the button that says "Create a repository for GitHub", the page just hangs, even though I've left it for hours and nothing happens. There's clearly some kind of issue.

Steps to reproduce

Go to the project, click on the 'Create a repository' button, see the error.

Expected behavior

I expect this to be able to actually create a repository to my GitHub.
