Coracle does the same, only parsing links to coracle and leaving other clients alone.
Maybe it could be a setting or pop-up when leaving the app? Seems like an app-specific UX thing rather than related interop though.
When would that link be generated? In web apps, users are just going to copy the current url and share it. Anyway, I agree with @dtonon
So if someone pastes nostrocket.com/nevent1... you would automatically strip the host, even if the event kind isn't commonly handled by general purpose nostr apps? That seems pretty bad to me....
