I suggest implementing a feature that enables page preview for links. This would allow users to hover over the links and view a snippet of a PDF's content. Additionally, making the links clickable to directly open the link would enhance user convenience and efficiency.

A few questions for you...

I assume you want this feature within the flashcard review function. Is that correct?

Are you suggesting that this would be useful for both the card front and card back?

There already is (perhaps a little known feature) that OSR already supports called "transclusion". For info see: https://github.com/st3v3nmw/obsidian-spaced-repetition/issues/810#issuecomment-1914459824

Curious that you specify "view a snippet of a PDF's content". Why specifically a pdf? And when you say "snippet", do you have a mechanism in mind for how the snippet should be identified by the user? Is this just page number, or range of pages?

Note that the transclusion mechanism currently works for embedding the content of notes, but not pdf files.
