Generic Ethernet/IP

Open kompak23 opened this issue 5 years ago • 2 comments

Hello, I just tried out connect Node Red to Fanuc robot controller, but there are needed more informations to configure protocol. This is list of these parameters:

  • Vendor ID
  • Device Type
  • Product Code
  • Input Size (words)
  • output size (words)
  • RPI (ms)
  • Assembly instance (input)
  • Assembly instance (output)
  • Configuration Instance

Is it possible to find somewhere these informations? Of course it is Ethernet/IP protocol. I have there Scanner and also Adapter mode. Which mode should be used to connect?

Regards, kompak23

Hi,

Any updates on this?

Also I suspect you find the information in the fanuc robots .EDS file if it has any.

How would you go about to enter this information with this Node-Red-Contrib in Node-Red?

These options would be great to have for "Generic Ethernet/IP Modules" which can always work with everything user defined.
