Pressing Esc when a modal pane (Ctrl-p, etc) is open will interrupt the LLM

Description

If I press Ctrl-p and then press Esc (to dismiss the modal pane), the LLM quits with "The operation was aborted."

Steps to reproduce

1. Start an LLM task.
2. While it is still running, press Ctrl-p
3. While it is still running, press Esc

Note that pane was dismissed, but:

The operation was aborted.

A double escape would be much safer to cancel any operations. I've hit the escape multiple times by accident since I have mapped the caps lock to escape and control keys.

i think we fixed this issue but will bring back double escape seperately
