For this case we need to create an api-route manifest to properly check https://github.com/opennextjs/opennextjs-aws/blob/5b314b13b2907a4510e7f0cca6959f8da4eab310/packages/open-next/src/core/routingHandler.ts#L150-L155

Thanks for the issue.

It would be nice to add an e2e for API routes in the pages-router examples as part of this effort.
