Automaticaly selecting when clicking outside

When I search for something and clicking outside the first option get selected.

Thanks for reporting! Seems like the ideal would be to function like the Esc key. I haven't looked over this code for a while and it's not immediately obvious why it does this. Feel free to submit a PR if you have the opportunity. TBH I haven't had much time lately to maintain my open source projects.
