Discovery tab only shows subscribed channels

When I first got thorium, the discovery tab was filled with videos from somewhere. I added a subscription to a particular server, now I only see videos from my 1 subscription. How do I get a plethora of videos in the discovery tab?

The discovery tab is not implemented at this time and just shows the recent videos. This feature is on my priority list so that I can take the app out of beta.
