Sporadically returns 500 error code and doesn't like that I'm not uuid 1000

Sometimes the vbox power api get route will return an http error code.
My uid is 1002, and I'm not seeing my virtualbox machines, but those of another user.

It may occur because that user is not joined to the virtualbox group.
