Feature Request: First Install Onboarding (wherin users can enable/disable features easily)
I installed this extension primarily for the Context Menu Search. Plenty of additional features I've found welcome, particularly the Toolbar Pop-up, the ability to organize all my search engines (including native Firefox Engines) into folders, the ability to add seach engines from the context menu, and the ability to add engines to the Firefox Browser itself that may otherwise be unrecognizable (or just with custom icons).
However, there are plenty of other features I've found unnececary, even though their inclusion is welcome for the benefit of others. These range from redundant, to a nuicence, to outright conflicting with my preffered options. For example, I don't use the Quick Menu and have means of activating it disabled, but the Quick Menu itself was enabled and I suspected it conflicted with my use of the context menu as well.
I realize there's no "default" set-up that will please everyone, so the next best thing is to offer an "onboarding" upon initial installation that explains all the options/features (or at least the primary ones) and allows to easy enable/disable the ones that matter to the users upon first use, while making clear that they can always change it later.
Admittedly, the options are a bit robust and growing all the time. I'll see what I can do.
